Hey! I'm Lukas, 25, originally from Germany, and I'm moving to Amsterdam in autumn to start my first job after finishing my master's. I'll be working as an AI engineer, focusing on computer vision. I can provide contract information and pay if needed. I've been living in shared flats since I moved out at 18, in a few different cities, so I know what makes flat life work. I'm tidy, quiet and respectful of other people's space. Ideally I'd love a place where we get along and sometimes hang out, cook together or grab a drink, but where everyone also gets their quiet time when they need it. In my free time I play piano (its a digital one and i have headphones dont worry) and try to stay active with tennis, running and the gym. I speak English fluently and I'm learning Dutch. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. A small heads-up: I don’t speak Dutch yet (only German, English and Spanish-ish), but learning it is the plan. I’m easygoing, love to cook (mostly veggie) and generally uncomplicated to live with.
