Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. My name is Diana, I’m 22 and I’m from Bucharest, Romania. I’ll be starting my Master’s degree in Media & Business at Erasmus University Rotterdam in August 2026, so I am looking for a stable, long-term place in Rotterdam (minimum one year). I’ve lived abroad before in Spain through an Erasmus exchange where I shared an apartment with 4 other people so I’m very used to communal living and respecting shared spaces. I’m quite independent and settle in quickly in new places. At home, I’m tidy and organised and I value taking care of my surroundings. I enjoy a clean, cosy living environment where everyone feels comfortable. Socially, I’m friendly and open. I don’t smoke, but I’m always down to hang out, grab a drink, discover new places or have a good chat. At the same time, I’m aware of personal space and know how to read the room. In my free time I enjoy swimming, listening to music, reading, watching TV shows, and exploring cafés. I’m really into pop culture and love learning new fun facts :) I’d say I’m a mix between responsible and social, especially when it comes to studies and everyday life. Financially, I am stable, as my father will be my guarantor and I can provide all required documents.
