I am a 22 year old girl from Norway. I am currently finishing my bachelors degree in geology, and I will start a master program in Utrecht in August. I enjoy voluenteering with habitat for humanity and being active outside. I especially enjoy hiking, swimming, climbing and biking. I also spend a lot of time reading and sowing! My name is Michelle, I’m 30 years old and originally from Venezuela. I’ve been living in Utrecht for the past 5-6 years, with a small break in Amsterdam, and I would like to come back to this lovely city. I work as an environmental specialist for a company based in Rotterdam. I travel for work a lot, and when I am in the Netherlands I usually go to the office one or two days a week. I perform methane emission measurements around the world, although most of my trips are in Europe, I have also been to Argentina and Australia for work. These days I’m transitioning into a more project management-focused role, so my travel might slow down a bit and would be able to spend more time at home. As a person, I’m calm, organized, and easy-going. Fitness is a big part of my life, I go to the gym almost every day, usually in the mornings or on weekends, and I love relaxing in the sauna afterward. I also enjoy walking outdoors, being in nature, and taking care of my many houseplants. Cooking is another passion of mine, and I’m always up for trying out new recipes. Lately, I’ve been very interested in spirituality, meditation, and learning more about holistic therapies. As a roommate, I’m peaceful, respectful, and I really value a clean and tidy home.
