Hi! I’m Logan, an American student moving to Enschede to study Physiotherapy at Saxion University starting in September 2026. I’m currently 18 (turning 19 in November) and finishing up my last year of high school. Right now, I work part-time in luxury retail at Canada Goose in King of Prussia, which I’ve been doing since I was 17. It’s taught me a lot about responsibility, communication, and working with all kinds of people. I have some basic Dutch from friends and family in the Netherlands, and I’m really looking forward to improving it and getting more comfortable with the culture once I move. Geachte verhuurder, Per 1 juli ben ik op zoek naar een zelfstandige kamer/studio in omgeving centraal Nederland. Mijn huidige woonruimte komt te vervallen doordat mijn huisgenoot vertrekt(Gaat samenwonen met zijn vriendin) — ik zoek dus een eigen plek met iemand samen of waar ik volledig op mezelf kan wonen. Ik ben werkzaam in de marketing/sales, een sector die vraagt om doorzettingsvermogen, communicatieve kracht en betrouwbaarheid — eigenschappen die ik ook als huurder meeneem. Ik ben sociaal van aard, maar weet ook goed wanneer ik rust nodig heb en hoe ik mijn eigen tijd structureer. Thuis laad ik op: met een goed boek over geschiedenis, een avond achter mijn computer of een goede film/serie. Wat u van mij kunt verwachten: een huurder die zijn zaken op orde heeft, zorgvuldig omgaat met zijn woning en geen overlast veroorzaakt. Ik zoek geen tijdelijke oplossing, maar een plek waar ik mij minimaal het komende jaar kan focussen op mijn werk en om de omgeving te leren kennen. Verder heb ik momenteel een auto van de zaak. Deze moet ik wel kwijt kunnen in de omgeving. Een stukje lopen vind ik niet erg. Ik zou het fijn vinden om kennis te maken en hoop dat we voor 1 juli tot een goede overeenkomst kunnen komen.
