Ik studeerde sociologie en voltooide een master in Filosofie, waarbij ik me in beide afstudeerprojecten liet leiden door de stem van Hannah Arendt en haar reflecties over de activiteit van denken. Ik heb vele jaren gewijd aan het verkennen van deze paden, en ik werd zelfs docent aan de universiteit waar ik studeerde, de Universiteit van Valle. Het leven bracht me echter naar Nederland, waar ik op 1 augustus 2016 aankwam. Sinds mijn universitaire dagen beoefen ik yoga als onderdeel van mijn zoektocht naar de zin van het leven. In 2019 begon ik een opleiding en met plezier behaalde ik mijn certificering als yogaleraar in de Nexoyoga-pedagogie op 7 mei 2025. Gedurende deze zoektocht naar vitaal betekenis heb ik ook interesse ontwikkeld in het onderzoeken van de cycli van de planeten en de effecten die deze hebben op het lichaam en emoties, zowel bij mijzelf als bij anderen. Voor mij heeft astrologie een therapeutische benadering, en yoga is het pad om het lichaam te gebruiken als een biologisch instrument waardoor onze ziel zich uitdrukt. Ondanks mijn toewijding aan yoga, blijf ik een diepe fascinatie voelen om de menselijke diversiteit vanuit verschillende sociologische perspectieven te verkennen. Daarom blijf ik actief als socioloog, projecten ontwikkelen in mijn moedertaal, het Spaans. Ik ben momenteel bezig met het leren van Nederlands en Engels. In de tussentijd werk ik 32 uur per week als bezorger voor Thuisbezorgd, een baan die ik erg leuk vind. Ik geniet van de frisse lucht, de zon op mijn gezicht, de glimlach van mensen die hun bestellingen ontvangen, en ik hou van de ervaring om deel uit te maken van de stad, door de verkeersregels te respecteren. Hoewel ik soms fouten maak (ik ben menselijk), hou ik ervan om de regels te volgen, omdat ik geloof dat ze een mooie menselijke uitdrukking zijn die ons in staat stelt om de vrijheid te ervaren om mijn subjectiviteit uit te drukken binnen de ervaring van het bouwen van burgerschap. Ik geniet van fietsen door de stad, wat ik beschouw als een vorm van sociale integratie. Een van mijn doelen is om een yogastudio op te zetten, en stap voor stap neem ik stappen om dit te bereiken. Ik ben al gecertificeerd als leraar, heb marketingcursussen gevolgd, ik ben bezig mijn taalvaardigheden te verbeteren, ik heb mijn eigen KVK geopend, en heb andere vooruitgangen geboekt. Mijn werk als bezorger biedt me financiële onafhankelijkheid om mijn basisbehoeften te dekken, terwijl ik mijn doelen blijf opbouwen. Ik ben op zoek naar een schone kamer, met registratie-rechten, bij voorkeur vrij van objecten (wat me zou toestaan de ruimte die ik nodig heb voor mijn yogabeoefening). Ik houd ervan om de ruimtes die ik bewoon schoon en georganiseerd te houden. Ten slotte, hoewel ik mijn tijd en ruimte waardeer om mijn zorgen te onderzoeken, geniet ik ook van socialiseren, delen, leren en anderen helpen voor zover ik kan.
