Hallo, Ik ben Jing Mei (22 jaar) en studeer aan de HAN in Nijmegen.Hier voor heb ik al twee jaar op mijzelf gewoond. Dus de benodigde ervaring is aanwezig. Het liefst zoek ik per september of eerder een (semi) studio in omgeving Arnhem - Nijmegen. Ik ben een sociaal persoon, maar ben ook erg gesteld op mijn rust. Ik ga netjes en zorgvuldig om met de woonplek, betaal de huur ook altijd op tijd en verder nooit problemen veroorzaakt of klachten gehad van vorige huurbazen. Zelf ga ik ook niet elke week feesten, rook niet en drink bijna nooit. Op de vroege ochtenden vind ik het heerlijk om mijn dag te beginnen in de sportschool. Verder vind ik het heel erg ontspannend om te koken of te bakken, lezen, wandelingen maken en schrijven. Ik werk bij de Albert Heijn in Oosterbeek en heb hier een vast contract, dus een stabiel inkomen is aanwezig. Hierdoor kan ik ook mijn werkplek makkelijk verplaatsen naar Nijmegen als ik hier een mooi aanbod vindt. Recentelijke loonstroken kan ik aantonen en indien het nodig is kan een van mijn ouders garantstaan, dit heb ik ook bij mijn vorige woonruimtes gedaan voor extra garantie, maar nog nooit nodig gehad. Ik zoek een nieuwe woonplek die ik helemaal mijn eigen plekje kan maken! Verder ben ik van plan om voor een langere periode te huren. Met vriendelijke groet, Jing Mei

My name is Rui Marques, I am Portuguese and 25 years old. I am looking for a studio/apartment/house for me and my girlfriend, Joana Ferreira, Portuguese and also 25 years old.  Both of us are doing our PhD in Cancer Researcher in Portugal, together with the Leiden University Medical Center. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. I must add that I have already lived in Leiden for 6 months from july to december 2025 (I can also send proof of this and provide contact of my previous landlords ). This gives me already a notion of what it is like living in the Netherlands. Additionally we have 2 small dogs. Well behaved, trained and used to live indoors. Because of that we are open to pay a caution of value that you see fit. To show you we are serious in staying in the Netherlands and that we are able to deal with rental we are open to pay upfront X months of rent (depending on the rent amount). We can move in on the first weeks of March. As we are in Portugal currently we are not able to visit the apartment. If it is possible it would be ideal if we could do the visit via videocall or by sending a friend to see the house for us. We are open to any questions you may have.
