I am a 20-year-old Norwegian student currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stavanger. From 25 August until 31 January, I will be studying at the University of Twente as an Erasmus exchange student, where I'll be starting my third year. My stay is financially secure through my Erasmus grant, a part-time job, and support from my parents, so paying rent on time will never be an issue. In my free time, I enjoy 3D modelling, football, basketball, and going to the gym, especially powerlifting. I would describe myself as organised, tidy, and respectful. I like to keep my living space clean, and I'm considerate of the people I live with. I enjoy being social but also appreciate a quiet environment where everyone can study and relax. I was also part of UiS Aerospace, the student rocket engineering club at my university, where I was responsible for the launch rail team. Hoi! Ik ben Thijmen, 23 jaar en heb gestudeerd in Groningen, waar ik een geweldige studententijd heb gehad. Ik heb inmiddels mijn bachelor Biologie en mijn master Energy & Environmental Sciences gehaald, maar ik ben nog niet helemaal uitgestudeerd. Vandaar dat ik heb besloten nog en master in Public Administration aan de UTwente te doen en zoek ik een fijne plek om te wonen in Enschede. Ik vind het ontzettend gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten, een drankje te doen, een goed bordspel te spelen of gewoon even op de bank te hangen. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon).
