Op het moment studeer ik in Zwolle aan het Hogeschool Windesheim, maar na dit jaar wil ik graag doorstromen naar de RUG om Engelse Taal en Literatuur te studeren! Ik ben een rustig persoon, maar ik vind het altijd leuk om wat samen te doen met anderen en sta altijd open voor een drankje of een spelletje! I am an urban designer specialising in the conservation of cultural heritage. I have a background in urban design and architecture, with degrees from Bilkent University (undergraduate), the Dessau Institute of Architecture (DIA) in Germany (masters), and a PhD from METU. My research focuses on historic public spaces and multi-layered towns, and I have been fortunate to work on various cultural heritage projects in Ankara. Currently, I teach at Başkent University, where I guide undergraduate and graduate students in urban design and conservation. I joined TU Delft as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment and in June, 2025. I will be living alone during my studies in TU Delft, and I am hoping to find a home nearby. Outside of my academic work, I enjoy exploring historic cities and, after a long break due to a car accident, I’ve recently returned to playing tennis—a passion that brings me a lot of joy.
