I've also lived in a lot of different countries before - Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, India and Japan for example. I love getting to know new countries, new people and overall, cultural exchange and openness are very important to me when living abroad, especially towards the host country. As a roommate, I value exchange, respect and cleanliness in my sleeping area. I believe communication on how to live together comfortably is key. Is there a cleaning plan, or not? Do we value spending time together, or more of a private living arrangement? Beyond that, I have a dust allergy, so I keep my room very clean. Financially, I have always been a very reliable tenant. Hello there! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be.
