My name is Niks Dāvis Strazdiņš, and I am interested in renting a room in Eindhoven. I am 21 years old and from birth I have lived in the capital city of Latvia, Riga. From next September, I will be studying Data Science Bachelor's program at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Therefore, I am very keen on looking for housing in Eindhoven. I am looking for room that looks very homelike, cool, and also the distance from my TU/e university is not big. As for my interests, I am a huge sports fanatic. I am also a huge fan of football and the local PSV Eindhoven football club. Discluding sport, I also love listening to a variety of music genres and, in general, be knowledgeable about the latest trends. All in all, I try to stay up to date about many topics, so there will always be a lot of stuff to chat about. The reason I believe that I am the perfect roommate is that I can be versatile, thus, I can be very chatty, but I can also be more peaceful and quieter if needed.

Hallo verhuurder/toekomstige kamergenoot. Ik wil me graag even voorstellen. Mijn naam is Finn en ik ben 23 jaar. Ik ben geboren in Fiji waar ik 10 jaar heb gewoond. Voordat ik naar Nederland ben verhuisd, heb ik ook nog in Uganda en Zwitzerland gewoond (in Geneve heb ik mijn middelbare school afgemaakt). Ik heb twee jaar in Amsterdam gewoond en gestudeerd (bewegingswetenschappen), maar voelde me daar niet helemaal op mijn plek. Ik ben van studierichting veranderd en naar Rotterdam verhuisd waar ik helemaal mijn draai heb gevonden. Ik studeer nu aan Erasmus University College en begin in September aan mijn laatste jaar. Ik ben van plan ook nog een Master in Rotterdam te doen. . Ik doe een liberal arts en science degree en naast mijn studie sport ik veel. Verder vind ik het leuk veel tijd met mijn vrienden en familie door te brengen. Ik woon nu in Rotterdam Zuid, maar ik moet helaas mijn woning verlaten aangezien die verkocht wordt.. Ik ben dus druk op zoek naar een nieuwe woning in Rotterdam. Ik ben een betrouwbare huurder omdat ik serieus en respectvol ben en veel belang hecht aan een plezierige, rustige, gezellige en schone leefomgeving. Ik ontvang een studentenlening, heb een bijbaantje en mijn ouders ondersteunen mij financieel wanneer nodig. Zij zijn bereid garant te staan. Ik heb alle benodigde documenten klaarliggen. Het nakomen van financiële verplichtingen is voor mij geen probleem. Ik hoop u/jullie snel te kunnen ontmoeten!

My name is Ida, I’m 23 years old, from Germany, and I’ll start my Master’s in Conflict Studies and Human Rights on 01/09 in Utrecht. I study serious things (Political Science and International Law), but live life with a healthy dose of laughter, curiosity and travelling. In Detail: I studied Political Science and International Law in Marburg (Germany), then did an internship in Göttingen at an international human rights organisation, and afterward chose the Master’s program in Utrecht. I would say I am very reliable and always stick to agreements due to my previous jobs - in elderly care, COVID testing stations, event management, and weddings - as well as my volunteer work, where many people rely on me for organisation and financial planning, I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility and reliability. I’ve been living in rental places for the past five years and have always communicated well with landlords (in addition I do not smoke, do not celebrate any parties and prefer to be the guest not the host for friends). For the past few months, I’ve been in Morocco – teaching at an English-French school in Casablanca, hopping from beach to city to desert, and possibly eating my body weight in tagine. I speak English and French fluently, studied Russian and Arabic (because apparently I hate easy hobbies), and now I’m diving into Dutch! Reading goes well (thanks, German roots), speaking… I am working on it! During my entire Bachelor I lived in shared flats, and even during my internship — where I only stayed for four months — my roommates became like a little family. We lived in a small house with four guys and three girls and I developped a lot in handcrafting. I enjoy cooking in the evenings and love spending time outdoors — hiking, walking, reading (especially historical drama or coming-of-age novels) or swimming in the morning or evening are my favorites. In my hometown I am a Girl Scout and enjoy our international exchange and hikes! I am searching for a clean room to study in Utrecht. My prefered date to move is between August and beginning of September. Earlier in July is possible if necessary. Viewing in July.
