I have lived in The Hague since September 2025, and I’m currently looking for (temporary) housing, ideally starting from September 1st, when my rental contract ends. I am interested in renting a room or studio where I can focus on my studies. I have been accepted into a 3-year International Studies program at Leiden University. Although I currently only speak English, I am open to communicating in Dutch if preferred. I am organized, respectful of others' space, responsible, and clean. I am 21 years old and I originally come from Hungary, though I lived most of my life abroad, as I grew up in Brussels (where I also live currently) and also resided in Zoeterwoude-Dorp for a period of 3 years throughout my bachelor’s studies at Leiden University. I recently got admitted to the Child and Adolescent Psychology master’s programme at Leiden University to pursue my dream of helping young people with their mental health difficulties on a daily basis. I would describe myself as a person who is highly mindful of his living environment. I can assure you that I would treat your property with the utmost respect and care. Furthermore, I am also always considerate towards the surroundings of my habitat, such as my neighbours. For example, the building where I lived during my 3 years in Zoeterwoude-Dorp was majoritarily inhabited by elderly people, hence I found it a priority to not disturb their peace and maintain a friendly relationship with them. Throughout my 3 years living there, I have never had any issues or disagreements with my landlord or the neighbours. Being an active member of the university football team at Leiden University, I like to spend most of my time, besides studying and working as an online tutor, outdoors. Furthermore, I do not smoke and do not have any pets.

Mijn hospita wil echter het gehele huis (waar ik nu een kamer huur) in één keer gaan verhuren. Dat betekent dat ik snel een andere kamer moet vinden. Kunnen inschrijven bij de gemeente is voor mij wel een vereiste.

I am Jira, Nigerian, 24, lived in the Netherlands for almost 7 years, previously living in Ireland and Nigeria in the past.
