Hallo! My name is Larissa, and I am a 33-year-old Brazilian researcher. I’m going to start my postdoctoral job at the Amsterdam University Medical Centre on 1st of June 2026. I have previously lived in the Netherlands for six months during my PhD, and I decided that I would like to live and work there. During those months, I deeply appreciated the meaningful work I was doing, my coworkers and the workplace, as well as the importance and space that Dutch society gives to personal life. I made a few great friends, and I rejoiced walking through the many parks I visited. I’m mostly a nerdy, introspective person, and I’m organised, committed, reasonable and respectful. My current fellowship is for one year of work (from 1st of June 2026 to 31th of May 2027), and it can be extended for one more year.
