Hi! I’m Hannes - 22-year-old product designer from Bavaria (near Munich, Germany) and I will start my Master’s at TU Delft 1st of September. I’m currently looking for a room in a shared flat from August / mid-August, and I plan to stay in Delft for around 2 years for my Master’s. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Technical Design and I’m very passionate about design, furniture, and DIY projects. I have my own 3D printer and really enjoy building and creating things. I’m also very into sports. I played ice hockey for many years at a high level, and nowadays I love road cycling, mountain biking, going to the gym, and skiing. Even though I love the mountains, I’m really excited about living in the Netherlands and especially looking forward to cycling here – I even have a few vintage road bikes :) As a person, I’m clean, disciplined, and respectful in shared spaces. I like to keep things organized and comfortable for everyone. At the same time, I’m social and enjoy student life. I've been living independently in Austria for the past year, sharing a flat with a roommate, so I have real experience with shared living. I pay rent on time without being reminded, I don't smoke indoors, and I have no pets. Cleanliness is something I take seriously, especially in shared spaces. My last roommate wasn't particularly tidy, which honestly made me more firm about maintaining common areas. Kitchens and bathrooms stay clean because I keep up with them consistently, not just before someone visits. For anything serious I always keep the landlord informed and in the loop. I'm calm and easy to live with. I don't host parties or have people over constantly. Outside of uni I run my own side projects in business and tech, so I'm usually focused and keep to myself in a good way. I've also worked as a waiter at large-scale events and have some experience in property management and rental processes, so I understand what's expected from a good tenant on both sides.
