I already have a BSN, a network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I care for my space, have a green thumb, and love people, adore animals, art, golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I am open to anyplace accessible to public transportation (I have sold my car for the time being) in communities in the north, like Alkmaar, Zaandam, Edam and Haarlem, to areas I'm also familiar with, such as Hilversum, Bussum, Huizen, Laren, Blaricum, Utrecht, Amersfoort and I LOVE, love, LOVE the community of BAARN! We are Ophelia (25) and Tanja (25) from Austria, but currently building a life in Amsterdam. Tanja is completing a Research Master's in Philosophy at the UvA and works as a Research Assistant for the Global Constitution Project. Ophelia works full-time as a Community Strategist at the School for Moral Ambition. We are responsible, calm and friendly, like to keep a tidy and quiet home. We are currently huisbewarder at an apartment we found through Kamernet, so we have plenty of experience taking care of someone else's home as if it were our own. We're looking for a small apartment or studio for just the two of us where one of us can register, preferably in Amsterdam.
