My name is Anete. I am a 20-year-old student from Latvia, currently studying full-time at the University of Amsterdam, and I am about to complete my first year of my bachelor’s degree. In my daily life, I focus on my studies and spend my free time playing football, going to the gym, and working part-time remotely in translation. I am a responsible, organized, quiet, and tidy tenant who values a clean and peaceful living space. I see myself as easygoing and friendly, but I also greatly appreciate my personal space and a calm home environment. I do not host parties and prefer a low-key lifestyle. Currently, I am looking for a small apartment or studio in Amsterdam to continue my studies in a stable and comfortable setting, as my current rental agreement will soon end.

Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik momenteel in een boeddhistisch centrum en ga ik binnenkort werken in een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. In verband met mijn master zoek ik vanaf uiterlijk september een kamer in Groningen :)
