Hi there, my name is Jordan and I am a 29 year old undergraduate student from Los Angeles who will be doing an exchange at Utrecht University from August 2026 to August 2027. I will be studying law & political theory. Though I am a student and will not be working I will be receiving extensive financial aid through my home university and have a large pool of savings, so I will be able to meet whatever necessary income requirements. I am a non-smoker and I do not have any pets. I love animals, though I would not be able to have any pets go into my room in a shared accommodation as I have an allergy. I love to read! Last year I completed 53 books. My favorite authors are Octavia Butler and Ursula K. Le Guin. Romance and mystery are my current favorite genres though. Some other hobbies of mine are piano, guitar, mountaineering, dog training, and karaoke. I volunteer, am active in the queer community, and value empathy and kindness above all else.
