My name is Nea, I’m a 20-year-old Finnish student currently studying International Relations and Organisations at Leiden University. I moved to The Hague last August and have been living in a shared apartment with five flatmates, but since my contract is ending soon, I’m now looking for a new place to live. I’m used to living with others, so I’m respectful, tidy, and mindful of shared spaces. I also contribute to buying shared household essentials like toilet paper, etc. I don’t smoke or drink, and I generally enjoy cozy nights, although I do like the occasional social night out. out. I go to the gym regularly, and in my free time I also like watching football, listening to music, and watching movies. I also spend a good amount of time studying and keeping up with my readings. I can be a little shy at first, but once I get comfortable, I’m really easygoing and chill. As a roommate, I’m looking for people who respect each other’s privacy and personal space, but are also up for a quick chat or hanging out now and then. I am particularly motivated to secure this housing because having a stable and comfortable place to live would allow me to fully focus on my studies. I just finished my MSc in International Financial Management at the University of Groningen, and I'm now in the transition from studies into my first proper job in finance and analytics. I'm giving up my room in Groningen at the end of April and looking for a place for up to six months while I settle into work. I can move in as soon as possible and I'm flexible on the exact start date. On the practical side: rent is fully covered. My parents are supporting me through this transition period, and I'm happy to provide proof of funds or a guarantor if that's useful.
