Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar. Ik hoop een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen te vinden waar ik voor langere tijd met plezier kan wonen!

Ik ben erg gemotiveerd om een kamer te vinden in Utrecht of omstreken, want vanuit Alkmaar is het 2 uur reizen naar de campus van de UU. Vanaf september ga ik natuur- en sterrenkunde studeren, en heel misschien de dubbele bachelor natuurkunde en wiskunde. Maar ik denk het niet want ik wil tijd over houden om veel te schaken, en op een studentensportvereniging (roeien denk ik) te gaan. Met schaken ben ik in 2025 Nederlands Jeugdkampioen geworden, en mijn doel is en blijft beter worden. Andere hobby's waar ik tijd voor hoop over te houden zijn pianospelen, zeilen, series kijken, lezen en theedrinken. Waarom ik op kamers wil, is naast dat het minder reistijd is, vooral omdat het me fantastisch lijkt om te wonen met mijn vrienden. Spelletjesavonden, samen eten, goede gesprekken en misschien zo nu en dan een uitje is wat ik hoop te vinden bij de kamer. Maar ik ben ook prima in staat de gezelligheid elders te vinden, bij de roeivereniging of schaakvrienden in Utrecht, en rustig te werken op m'n kamer. En: sowieso zal mijn kamer opgeruimd zijn :) Mijn ouders hebben vaste banen en staan garant voor de huur. Die zal dus hoe dan ook betaald worden!
