Me as a roommate: Friendly, quiet, clean, and tactful Master's student coming to Amsterdam this August. I am very used to living with roommates and away from home. Previously I have lived as a residence advisor back home in Canada, and also with roommates during my time in France. I will likely be quite busy with my studies, so I won't be around the house much. Me generally: Excited to practice my Dutch (or French), active with a mix of running, swimming, soccer, and gym etc., loves reading and spending time with friends (but I'm not looking to bring them back to my house).

I am Jira, Nigerian, 24, lived in the Netherlands for almost 7 years, previously living in Ireland and Nigeria in the past. I am looking for a home in Rotterdam as I aim to start my master's degree in September. I had previously lived in Rotterdam, so I have quite some knowledge of the city and would be able to fit in seamlessly with any kind of roommate. In terms of personality and what to expect, I would say I am quiet naturally but have the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and converse for a long time. I am an aspiring model and gym enthusiast I also love gaming and movies especially thrillers. Additionally, I love sports, like football and basketball, and play football as well. In terms of financial situation, I currently am a full-time student, but i have a guarantor – my mother – who will be paying the rent. She earns in excess of 8,000 euros per month, and the rent will not be a problem at all. Payslips and proof of income can be sent immediately upon request. Lastly, I possess good knowledge of the Dutch language and am getting better day by day, and I think I would be an ideal roommate for anyone, both male and female.

After a 6-month gap spent in France working and learning a new language, I am starting a master’s in engineering at TU Delft this September. I am looking for a room in a student residence, as I believe it would represent the perfect environment to live this experience. I have always shared living spaces and I’m used to communicating with my roommates to help keep a comfortable and friendly space for everybody. I lived in a double room during the 3 years of my bachelor, in a student residence during my Erasmus and in a shared apartment during my last experience abroad. I am an organized and easy-going person who enjoys sports, travelling and spending time with others.

Hello! My name is Dora (21 years old, Croatian) and I am an incoming Master of Earth Sciences student at the University of Amsterdam this autumn. I have lived in Leiden for the past three years (for my Bachelor of Psychology), but I am now looking for a place closer to my place of study starting around August/September 2026 for the long-term.
