Hi! We’re Kate and Lucy, a couple from Uruguay, both 29 years old. We’re currently living in the Netherlands on a one-year Working Holiday Visa. We’re looking for a furnished room or apartment where we can feel at home during our stay. We’ll take great care of the place, always pay rent on time.

I am starting my Bachelor degree at Leiden university this September for psychology, so I am looking for a place to stay during my studies. As I am coming from Canada, anywhere that I can stay for at least one year is suitable for me. I am easygoing and social, but enjoy peace and quiet so I can focus on my studies and artistic passions. I will have a steady and reliable income as a student from jobs, loans and family, and my guarantor living abroad — and I am willing to pay additional deposits or extended rent. I have friends and family in the Netherlands as well, who are very gracious and willing to help if necessary, such as attending viewings for me.

I have a lot of experience living communally, since I moved to Madrid at 18 and have since lived with people from different backgrounds in Madrid, Warsaw, Kamperland (NL), Seville, and Dublin. I'm respectful, clean, tidy, and open-minded. I clean up after myself every time I cook, and I like to maintain the house during the week. I'm happy to divide chores weekly with roommates, but open to other systems too. Hey, Marius here! Just moved to Amsterdam a few weeks ago to work at Flying Pig Downtown and I'm looking for permanent accomodation. I've been working or volunteering in hostels for a while, so I became very welcoming and friendly. My favourite activity with my friends or guests? Playing Minecraft until late and joking around. Ever since I arrived here I realized I really like cycling around (very recreationally, you won't find me with the skinny cyclist suit yet). When it comes to how I live, I've often been complimented on how clean I keep my room (to the point where even my mom was proud, big achievement). I also don't smoke or have pets. Ik ga netjes om met spullen en zorg niet voor overlast. Ik heb er plezier in om af en toe met huisgenoten (of vrienden) te eten en om nieuwe dingen te proberen. Ik heb respect voor andermans ruimte en heb af en toe een momentje voor mezelf nodig :) Ik heb een garantsteller en kan daarvoor alle nodige documenten leveren, mocht het nodig zijn.
