I'm Juan, a 25 year old Chemistry Master's student at Utrecht University. I'm focusing on sustainable methods of reusing and cleaning water, which I want to bring back to my home country of Mexico. During the week, I work 9-5 on my thesis at Science Park. On the weekends, I work part-time to support my studies. In my free time I climb, read and listen to a lot of music. Mostly I enjoy creating my own art for my experimental electronic music project, but more recently I'm also learning to play guitar. I'm also learning French for my future internship, so if you speak it and would like to learn Spanish hit me up! Despite my musical endeavors, I'm not a loud roommate at all, more so one that enjoys cooking together and hanging out over a drink. I'm always looking for people to share ideas and create with. Hi everyone! I’m Nils, 24, and about to start my Master’s degree (Modern and Contemporary History) in Utrecht after wrapping up my Bachelor’s in Political Science and History. I’ve spent the last 10 years working in gastronomy as a bartender and waiter – first in my father's restaurant back in Nuremberg and later while studying in Mainz. It keeps me on my toes, makes me easy to talk to, and taught me how to actually keep things clean without being weird about it. Having lived in WGs for the past 4 years, I know how shared flats work: I completely respect personal space, but I’m always down for cooking together, grabbing a cold beer, or having a good chat in the kitchen (I also love cooking for people while trying out new recipes). When I’m not studying or working, I’m usually into photography, music, and politics.
