Hi everyone! 👋 My name is Juan, I am a 24-year-old from Spain, and I am looking for a new place to call home in Delft, Rotterdam, or The Hague starting in late August. I am about to begin a 2-year Master's program in Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft (my classes start on August 31st). I am currently already living in the Netherlands! I have been staying in Utrecht for a summer job, but my temporary lease is ending soon, so I need to relocate closer to my university. Because I am already here, I am fully available to drop by for an in-person viewing or a coffee to see if we are a good match. A bit about me: I am a very tidy, responsible, and easy-going person. I speak fluent English and consider myself very adaptable. Since I will be quite busy with my Master's degree and I also plan to work part-time alongside my studies, I appreciate a clean, organized, and relatively calm environment at home. However, I am also very sociable! I would absolutely love to share a dinner, a beer, or a nice chat in the living room after a long day, while also respecting everyone's need for privacy and quiet time. Ik ben op zoek naar een woning in de omgeving van Utrecht of Arnhem. Zelf woon ik nu in Voorst, dat is zon 1,5 uur reizen naar mijn opleiding Product design op de Hku en ik zou graag wat dichterbij komen wonen. Naast mijn studie doe ik van allerlei klussen als zzp'er en werk ik als werkplaats instructeur op het Rijnijssel in Arnhem. Verder ben ik druk met sporten, ik voetbal, loop hard en doe aan kickboks. I work full-time in digital marketing as a team lead at an agency, and besides that I also run my own jewelry art studio at Treehouse NDSM. Most of my free time somehow ends up in the studio making jewelry or metal sculptures, which I genuinely love. I’d say I’m a very open-minded, friendly, and easygoing person. I like having a warm and comfortable home atmosphere, where everyone feels relaxed and at ease. Outside of work, I’m into cooking, dinners with friends, jazz music, and all the small cozy things that make a place feel like home. I’m also a very tidy person and I genuinely like cleanliness — to the point where I actually clean when I’m stressed, which I guess is not the worst coping mechanism to have 😅 I’m respectful of shared spaces and pretty mindful of the people I live with. At the moment I’m living with two guys already, so I’m very used to shared living and different personalities around the house. I’m social and happy to chat from time to time, but I also really respect personal space and everyone having their own routine.
