Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). This is one of my favourite “hobby’s “ because you learn always something new about different cultures, different people and (maybe for me the most important thing) about new kitchens. And this is another hobby of mine. I love to cook. The Asien and the Italien kitchen are my most favourite kitchens. Every Christmas me and my two brothers cook for the family a special dish. So I would love to cook also with you guys every evening. The funniest part of cooking is to do it with friends. Sitting and eating together in the evening is an everyday ritual in our household. So I would like to continue with this ritual maybe by you. The rest of my free time I spend with my girlfriend or with my clique. Most of the time we are doing activities like game nights, driving to a sea, watching football or other stuff like this. We also organise special activities like in march we were in a snow dome or a weekend trip to Wangerooge. In my opinion these are the most fun activities. At the weekends we like to going party or only sit together, drink a few beer and play some cards.
