Hoi, ik ben Delmer! Ik ben 18 jaar oud en Ik woon in zuid-Friesland. Op dit moment ben ik tweede jaars toegepaste psychologie student op de Hanze in Groningen, maar ik begin volgend jaar aan de opleiding Psychologie op de UU. Door deze verhuizing van opleiding ben ik opzoek naar een kamer in Utrecht of een dorp/stad in de omliggende omgeving. Ik ben van nature een sociaal persoon en kan ook rustig overkomen, daarom heb ik ook voor psychologie gekozen. Hiernaast kan ik het ook heel leuk vinden om dingen te doen met toekomstige huisgenoten zoals huisavonden! In mijn vrije tijd luister ik veel muziek, lees ik hier en daar een boek en ga ik ook met een zekere regelmaat naar de sportschool. Ik zoek op dit moment een kamer waarbij het vooral heel gezellig kan zijn, maar dat iedereen ook een beetje hun eigen leven lijdt. In the last couple of years I've lived in different countries for studying and working, including Japan and Australia, and France and since February of this year I've been doing a Master in Politics, Economies and Societies of Asia at Leiden University. As I'm studying in Leiden and working part-time in Den Haag, I am looking for a room in the area :) I am a friendly person, I enjoy chatting and hanging out with my flatmates, but I of course also value personal space. I am very clean and always make sure common spaces are tidy and ready for the next person to use. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, markets and cafes with my friends, as well as playing tennis and other sports. I am also attending a Dutch course in Leiden every week :)

Recently, I have picked up reading again after beeing peer pressured by some friends, which has added a new facet to my life. For the rest of August I am fixated on learning Dutch as much as possible. I have already lived in a shared apartment during my bachelor's degree. It'd be great to have a flat with an engaging bunch to share dinners and good times instead of doom scrolling by myself.
