I grew up in the south-west of England, with a Dutch mother and a Welsh father and lots of siblings. I spend the majority of my time painting in the studio at school, but in my free time I really enjoy going on long walks in the forest or along the dunes and the occasional seaswim!! I am currently living in a DUWO student house and lived in a flat before that with roommates so I have experience sharing a space with others, and respecting boundaries. I enjoy cleaning (as dull as it sounds) and cooking lots of vegan food :)) I am required to leave my current accommodation before the middle of June. Both at work and while playing tennis I’m often surrounded by Dutch people, so I’ve been trying to learn Dutch step by step and Duolingo is also reminding me everyday🤪. For me, a good balance in a shared apartment is really important: having time and space for yourself, but also enjoying spontaneous chats in the kitchen, movie nights, cooking together or just having a funny evening together.
