I moved from Rome at 19 to study, and since then I’ve been living in rented apartments for the past 4 years sharing homes with my younger sister. Mijn naam is Liv (21) en ik studeer Advertising & Beyond aan de Willem de Kooning Academie. Ik hou van fotografie, graphic design en theater. Momenteel woon ik in Den Haag, maar samen met mijn goede vriendin en klasgenoot Rhiannon (19) ben ik op zoek naar een woning in Rotterdam, zodat wij dichter bij onze opleiding kunnen wonen en ons daar voor langere tijd kunnen vestigen. Rhiannon komt oorspronkelijk uit Ierland en woont inmiddels al een jaar zelfstandig in Rotterdam. We zijn netjes, georganiseerd en hechten veel waarde aan een rustige leefomgeving. We vinden het leuk om tijd door te brengen met vrienden maar we vinden een kalm huis ook belangrijk en houden we altijd rekening met onze buren. Naast onze studie hebben wij allebei een stabiele bijbaan. Rhiannon werkt in een Ierse pub en ik werk in het weekend bij conceptstore Voorlopig. We kunnen beiden inkomensbewijzen aanleveren en indien gewenst kunnen onze ouders garant staan. We zijn verantwoordelijke huurders en gaan zorgvuldig om met onze woonruimte. Wij zouden idealiter rond juli/augustus willen verhuizen, willen ons beiden inschrijven op het adres en kunnen alle benodigde documenten snel aanleveren. Daarnaast roken we niet en hebben we geen huisdieren. Graag stellen wij ons verder persoonlijk aan u voor tijdens een bezichtiging.

From September onwards I will study "Social Challenges, Policies, and Interventions" in Utrecht and after a few years in Nijmegen I am now ready to make a new city my home. Besides my studies I love to be in nature, work on creative projects like knitting or sewing, cook, play Volleyball, and spend time with my friends. From my time studying in Nijmegen I already have lots of experience living with other people and like to think that I am a clean, open-minded and uncomplicated roommate to live with. Hello! I am a prospective student at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen starting September, and I'm looking for a room to rent for the duration of my studies. I will be studying international relations, which is a subject I'm very passionate about! To pursue this, I am looking for accomodation starting this summer or fall. I've lived in flatshares for most of my previous studies, so I'm well-accustomed to living with others! I've also lived in a lot of different countries before - Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, India and Japan for example. I love getting to know new countries, new people and overall, cultural exchange and openness are very important to me when living abroad, especially towards the host country. As a roommate, I value exchange, respect and cleanliness in my sleeping area. I believe communication on how to live together comfortably is key. Is there a cleaning plan, or not? Do we value spending time together, or more of a private living arrangement? Beyond that, I have a dust allergy, so I keep my room very clean. Financially, I have always been a very reliable tenant.
