My name is Sandra and I am a 25-year-old Spanish female. I am a game programmer who just moved to beautiful Amsterdam to work at the renowned Guerrilla Games. This opportunity is a dream come true because I was already in love with the company but now I have fallen in love with the city as well. I hold a bachelor’s degree in video game design and development, which I completed with a thesis awarded with high honors. My professional journey began with an internship at King during the summer of my third year of university, followed by another one at Ubisoft during my final year. Upon graduation, I joined Smilegate on a permanent contract, where I have worked for the past three and a half years. Throughout these years, my living situation has varied. I lived with my parents during university, then shared an apartment with a friend for a year and a half, and most recently, shared an apartment with three flatmates for two years. All these experiences have made me very aware of the qualities I value in a tenant, flatmate, and neighbor, and I am committed to embodying them myself. Since I spend most of my day at the office, I value coming back to an organized and clean home free of noise and smoke. Nevertheless, I spend most of my time away. I mostly eat out with friends. I have been adding a pin to every restaurant that I have enjoyed, so you can barely see the streets of my Google Maps anymore! I also go a lot to Soho House, a private members’ club, where I indulge in reading books, watching movies, and exercising. I aim to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Hallo, Mijn naam is Marta (25, vrouw) en ik zoek naar een nieuwe woning! Over mezelf, ik promoveer in de scheikunde aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Mijn contract loopt tot November 2025, met mogelijkheid van verlenging. Ik doe zowel onderzoek als onderwijs, waarbij ik werk aan kennis die voor de energietransitie relevant zal zijn, iets waar ik zelf erg enthousiast van word. Ik kom zelf oorspronkelijk uit een dorp in de buurt van Barcelona, en ik ben in november 2021 naar Utrecht verhuisd om te beginnen met mijn onderzoek. Tijdens deze 2+ jaren heb ik meerdere Nederlandse taalcursussen gedaan, en nu ben ik blij om te zeggen dat ik in het dagelijks leven Nederlands gebruik met collega’s en huidige huisgenoten. Na ruim twee jaar zal ik mijn huidige huis verlaten omdat mijn huisbaas het huis wil verkopen. Ik kan dan ook per direct verhuizen. Ik houd mijn huis graag netjes, en ben niet een thuisblijvende persoon. Tijdens de week heb ik een werkend leven: ik ga elke dag naar de universiteit om in het laboratorium te werken, en daarna een paar keer per week doe ik sport op de universiteitscampus, en daarnaast doe ik Lindyhop, een populaire danssport in Utrecht. Als het mooi weer is ga ik graag hardlopen, rondjes wandelen of fietsen, of buiten een boekje in de zon lezen. Als het slechter weer is vind ik het leuk om musea te bezoeken. Ik hou ook van reizen, waarbij mijn topbestemming natuurlijk Barcelona is om familie en vrienden te bezoeken. Daarnaast vind ik het leuk om treinreizen in Europa te doen. Ik ben Marysia, 23-jarige Toegepast Psycholoog en tweedejaars masterstudent Music Design aan de HKU. Naast mijn studie werk ik parttime bij een psychologenpraktijk in Utrecht met hoogbegaafde kinderen en jongeren. Ik speel gitaar (zowel akoestisch als elektrisch) en piano en ik componeer mijn eigen nummers. Ook hou ik van fotograferen, (strand)wandelingen, lyrics schrijven, muziek luisteren (het liefst (hard)rock, post-grunge en (alternative) metal), afspreken met vrienden, dansen en koken/bakken. Mij maak je blij met kop zoethoutthee, fijne gezellige gesprekken, een heerlijk baksel en een dramatische realityserie of romantische comedie. Fun fact about me: ik heb mijn haar in (bijna!) alle kleuren gehad :)
