Hi, I'm Judith, a 26-year-old graduate from a village in Germany! I just graduated from my studies to become a teacher for English and German for 10 to 16 year olds. Now I want to gain more practical experience and more insight into different education systems – so I’ll be doing an internship in Wassenaar from January to July 2026 (thanks to the Erasmus+ programme). I’m a very caring person – I laugh loudly, but am otherwise calm and quiet, and I value peace and mutual respect in a shared space (like a true Hufflepuff). I'd describe myself as an extroverted introvert: outgoing and bubbly, but I also really enjoy and need time to myself. I like to keep my space clean and tidy. Since I’m not a big cook (I enjoy eating more than preparing!), I won’t be making a mess in the kitchen either. I love languages (though I’m not the quickest learner) and started learning Arabic last year, which turned into a great (yet difficult) hobby. I also enjoy long walks and discovering new places – usually by accident, since I get lost easily thanks to my non-existent sense of direction. 😅 Trying out new things and challenging myself is kind of a necessity for me. So living in a different country, with new people in a new environment, is a perfect challenge and learning experience – something I’ve been looking forward to and dreaming of for the past couple of years. 😊

Hoi! Ik ben Bodien, 24 jaar en begin in september aan mijn laatste, vierde jaar aan het Saxion, waar ik Creative Business studeer (met de focus op journalistiek!). Ik houd enorm veel van gezelligheid maar ik heb ook zeker mijn eigen rustige momentjes nodig. Ik ben een actief persoon die graag leest, lekkere maaltijden probeert te koken, zuiver(!) meezingt onder de douche, met haar vrienden afspreekt en kringloopwinkels afsnuffelt. Aan schoonmaakroosters houden is geen probleem, aangezien ik ook van een net huis houd! Samen eten vind ik heel leuk, maar ik ben wel een vegetariër (die overigens geen problemen heeft met vleesetenden om haar heen!). Ik hoop een mooi plekje in Enschede te vinden en een goede toevoeging te zijn aan een nieuw, leuk huis :).
