Currently, however, I'm on an exchange programme in China so I'm looking for a new place to live for when I return. Due to the distance I will unfortunately not be able to attent viewings in person, only online. A little about me: I'm a very sociable and easygoing Italian-German girl that enjoys hanging out with friends, spending time outside and always tries to find new things to do. My friends would describe me as an open-minded person, that smiles most of the time, although I might be quite shy and reserved in the beginning. I love cooking, especially Italian, Thai recipes, or trying out new 10 minute recepies that turn out to be one hour long. I have a passion for learning new languages (Chinese at the moment). I fluently speak Italian, English and German. I like to stay active with sports like tennis and at home workouts. I'm very used to sharing space as I already lived with other people twice and in China I'm currently living in a shared 12 square meter room and share common facilities (showers, toilets, and washingmachines) with other 80 people. Ik vind het leuk om af en toe samen te eten of te praten, maar kan ook goed mijn eigen ding doen. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik veel, ben ik graag buiten en kook ik regelmatig (meestal vegetarisch/vegan). Omdat mijn vriend in Londen woont, ben ik soms een weekend weg. I’m Melissa (28), originally from Germany, and I’ll be starting a full-time position as a research assistant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam this March, working on biodiversity-related topics. Hey! I am a 22 yo working professional balancing between a job and a social life. I am originally from Finland but ended up here by a funny accident, and liked it enough to stay. I have now lived here for 2 years and caught some of the Dutch skills during that trip too. I work for Nike. It means that I appreciate a more quiet home environment and perhaps roommates that also enjoy chill movie nights at home while cooking together.
