Hi I'm José and I just moved to Amsterdam to work at a global creative agency called Resn as their Director of Growth. We are a couple from Romania (parents of two daughters, who are now students in Groningen), around 50 years old, and we recently moved to the Netherlands. The reason for this was the desire to financially support our daughters in completing their studies, in order to have better paid jobs and more stability. In the country, I worked as a textile engineer (pattern maker), and my husband in the electrical engineering field. Currently, we both have secure jobs here in Groningen, providing us with a stable income to comfortably cover our rent and living expenses. We are very quiet, non-smoking people who value cleanliness and order. We have a great track record as renters, with positive experiences living in shared environments, and we never receive complaints. We are currently staying with friends until the end of July. They are incredibly happy with how we care for their space (and their cats!), and we can gladly provide their reference if needed.. Regarding the accommodation you offer, we think it is exactly what we are looking for. A lot of the accommodation in the Netherlands is rooms in student houses, and does not accept working people. So we are looking for a quiet studio or apartment, where we can rest, cook after a day of work, and study (we are learning English and Dutch at the moment). Nothing more. The size of the space is really irrelevant to us, and as long as it is okay with you, we are perfect to live together in this space. We have lived in small spaces all our lives.

Hoi! Ik ben Dymitr, ik ben een beetje nerdy maar vooral sociaal, flexibel in omgang en doorgaans rustig. Ik ben ook wel speels en expressief als ik op mijn gemak ben, maar soms moet ik eerst ontdooien met nieuwe mensen. Maar als het klikt, dan gaat het snel! Ik spreek met een Vlaams accent (amai zenne). Ik houd van D&D en tabletop RPGs in het algemeen. Ik speel graag board games, als dat een gewoonte is in huis. Creatief bezig zijn vind ik de max! Ik doe vooral worldbuilding, dus vooral tekenen en schrijven. Koken vind ik ook leuk, samen koken nog leuker. Uiteraard hecht ik belang aan netheid, en respecteer ik gedeelde ruimtes. Ik doe graag deep cleaning, en ben ik niet snel vies van iets. Dus deze soorten taken neem ik graag over in een huis. Ik vind nachtrust erg belangrijk, dus ben ik stil in de nacht (na 22u). Ik houd wel van feestjes of gatherings, zolang iedereen in huis akkoord gaat. Dus vooraf bespreken vind ik belangrijk, maar meestal vind ik het prima. Soms nodig ik zelf graag mensen uit. Ik werk als voltijds als arts in Den Haag sinds kort. De meeste weekends ga ik naar België om mijn partner te zien. Dus als je graag meer rust in huis wil, dan is dit een voordeel. Ik rook niet. Ik vind het wel OK als huisgenoten roken. Ik heb geen problemen met alcohol e.d. in huis. Queer en neurodivergent friendly! Zelf met diagnose van ADHD. Ik zoek een plaats vanaf september. Als je me in huis wil, dan zorg ik ervoor dat je er enkel voordeel aan hebt!
