Right now I'm enjoying the last months of my voluntary year in Argentina, where I live together with 30 teenage boys and accompany them through their daily life. This experience is actually what made me want to study psychology – it made me realize I want to work with and for people later on. In my free time I enjoy sports, reading, socializing and learning new things, such as languages. I'm really looking forward to some housemates teaching me Dutch :) I'd describe myself as responsible and easy to live with: I take care of my share of the chores, and since I know living closely together works best when everyone pitches in, I try to be considerate in the shared spaces. Door mijn achtergrond ben ik behoorlijk gedisciplineerd en zelfstandig. Met de hoeveelheid studiestof die bij Geneeskunde komt kijken is dat ook geen overbodige luxe. De meeste dagen breng ik veel tijd door in de UB, vaak ook in het weekend. Naast studeren vind ik het belangrijk om sociaal actief te blijven. Ik woon inmiddels al vijf jaar in Amsterdam en ken de stad daardoor goed. Ik spreek graag af met vrienden, ga af en toe de stad in en geniet van alles wat Amsterdam te bieden heeft. I'll be studying English language and culture and I plan to focus on my studies while I explore my surroundings and meet new people, I also have working experience and plan on working part-time besides my studies.
