Ik zal volgend jaar mijn eerste jaar masters werktuigbouwkunde af hebben gemaakt aan de TU/E in de Robotica sectie. Voordat ik mijn studie afmaak ga ik eerst een jaar aan exoskeletten werken bij project march (een dream team van Delft). Dat is een full-time positie. Om dit te doen ben ik op zoek naar een woning in de omgeving. Ik ben een relatief rustige huisgenoot maar ben enthousiast te krijgen om te kaarten of bordspellen te spelen. Normaliter hou ik ervan om mijn omgeving netjes te houden. Naast boulderen en spelletjes hou ik verder ook van trektochten, een beetje programeren voor hobby, en soms een boek openslaan.

Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik werkte ik in een boeddhistisch centrum en een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. I also have many hobbies, some of them being reading, traveling and playing volleyball. I like trying new things, so I recently started bouldering, which I really enjoy at the moment. I have a cat, which I love dearly and I take very good care of her. Her name is Duli and she is a very cuddly, clingy cat, so I would love to be able to continue to live with her in Enschede. I can fully take care of her and keep her just in my room in a shared flat, but if other flatmates want to meet her and pet her, they are obviously welcomed to do so. I'm a sociable person and I love meeting new people, but I also enjoy quiet evenings from time to time. I'm also an adventurous person who like outdoors activities.
