Hey everyone! :) My name is Skyla , I am 21 years old and I am from Germany. I recently moved to Arnhem to study International Social Work at HAN University. Unfortunately, my student housing contract will end soon, so I need a new place to live. I am a very easy-going person and I love to socialise, but I also enjoy having time for myself. I enjoy music a lot and occasionally like to go to concerts or jam sessions. Additionally I love cooking, doing yoga and sports, and spending time in nature. Before moving here I spent a lot of time travelling and lived in different places around the world. I value a considerate living environment and therefore always try to keep everything clean and tidy as well. (My roommates would confirm! :)

I am a PhD student from Munich, looking for a flat for a 4,5 month stay. I want to live with a friend who is also a PhD student. We both each have a scholarship, which when combined are enough to afford a ~2200€ apartment. My scholarship is 1750€/month, and when staying abroad I get 350€ extra. My friend's scholarship is worth about 1800€. Besides the monthly income, I have plenty of savings that can guarantee rent payment.

I just moved here from the US to start a new position as a researcher at the University of Amsterdam Institute for Astronomy. I spend a lot of time working, but I also enjoy coffee, cross-stitching, birdwatching, baking, sci-fi, and going out with friends.
