I recently graduated with my Master’s and I’m about to start working in Utrecht, so I’m looking for a place to call home. Ik werk echter nog steeds in Den Haag en ben daarom op zoek naar een fijne plek om te wonen: een kamer of een betaalbaar appartement. Ik heb veel ervaring met wonen in gedeelde huizen. My name is Sofia, I'm 25, originally from Slovakia and I've just started my first year of bachelor's in Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I'm currently based in Almere, however, I'm actively looking for a room closer to the university to cut down on commute expenses. Besides obviously being interested in psychology as I have chosen it as my programme of study, I'm into social science in general - history, sociology, learning languages and immersing in the unfamiliar are also my jam. I'm also an avid reader which is linked to the fact that I used to write one shots and short stories mainly towards the end of primary school and throughout high school (I haven't actually written anything that's not school-related in quite a long while but I definitely want to revert to it at some point). I am pretty respectful of other people's space and boundaries and pretty used to living in shared accommodation at this point - the place I live in now is my 5th shared housing. Therefore, cleaning after using common areas such as the kitchen and bathroom is something I do automatically without having to be reminded of or scolded for not doing it.
