Hi, my name is Richard, I am 19 years old and I come from Slovakia, from a mountain area called Čertovica. I will be studying International Relations and Organisations (IRO) at Leiden University in The Hague starting in the 2026/2027 academic year, so I am currently looking for a place to live. I’m a friendly and outgoing person who enjoys going out with friends, seeking adventure and also passionate for travel. I’ve been into sports since I was a kid –I used to train martial arts, ran a marathon, also played football for about 5 years, I snowboard etc... I’m responsible, adaptable, and I try to be considerate of others. I like to keep things clean. I’m also quite spontaneous and enjoy having fun. I’d really like to have a good relationship with my roommates – not just share a place, but also be friends and share some good moments together.

Hi, I am moving to Delft or Den Haag from Germany to do my master's degree in applied mathematics at TU Delft. About me: I absolutely love doing sports! Whatever you may suggest I'm down. Mainly I'm going running or cycling but have been thinking about picking soccer back up. I enjoy planning activities spontaneously. I'm just one call away from going for a run, a hike, to the park, cooking dinner together or grabbing a quick beer at the local pub. As my choice of degree may have given away I enjoy pondering complex problems and love to learn. Recently, I have picked up reading again after beeing peer pressured by some friends, which has added a new facet to my life. For the rest of August I am fixated on learning Dutch as much as possible. I have already lived in a shared apartment during my bachelor's degree. It'd be great to have a flat with an engaging bunch to share dinners and good times instead of doom scrolling by myself. That said, my main priority right now is finding a place to call home before the semester starts.

Hoi! Ik ben Thijmen, 23 jaar en heb gestudeerd in Groningen, waar ik een geweldige studententijd heb gehad. Ik heb inmiddels mijn bachelor Biologie en mijn master Energy & Environmental Sciences gehaald, maar ik ben nog niet helemaal uitgestudeerd. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon). Daarnaast ben ik nu nog elk weekend actief als leiding bij een scoutingvereniging in Groningen. Zodra ik in Enschede gesetteld ben, ben ik zeker van plan om daar in de buurt ook weer zoiets op te pakken. Ook ben ik graag met mijn vrienden. We plannen regelmatig speciaalbier avondjes, een whiskey proeverij of een leuke, actieve activiteit, zoals padellen. Ik zoek dus een gezellig huis met een mooie balans tussen samen dingen ondernemen en elkaars rust respecteren.
