Hoi, Mijn naam is Roman, ik ben 22 jaar en heb onlangs mijn bachelor Filosofie, Politicologie en Economie afgerond aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Vanaf september begin ik aan de master Econometrics aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam en ben ik op zoek naar een kamer voor de duur van deze master, ongeveer twee jaar. Tijdens mijn bachelor ben ik onder andere bestuurslid geweest bij de Amnesty International Student Group Amsterdam, waar ik verantwoordelijk was voor externe relaties en evenementenorganisatie. Daarnaast werk ik als stadsgids in Amsterdam, waar ik rondleidingen geef over de geschiedenis en politiek van de stad. Dit werk heeft mijn communicatieve vaardigheden sterk ontwikkeld en ik ga graag het gesprek aan met mensen van uiteenlopende achtergronden. Ik ben internationaal georiënteerd, maar spreek inmiddels ook Nederlands op B1-niveau en oefen dit graag verder. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik regelmatig naar de sportschool en verdiep ik me in kunst, onder andere door regelmatig musea te bezoeken. Ik ben benieuwd om me daarnaast ook creatief te ontwikkelen, bijvoorbeeld met keramiek of schilderen. Als huisgenoot ben ik sociaal en behulpzaam, maar ik respecteer ook rust en privacy. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar. Ik hoop een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen te vinden waar ik voor langere tijd met plezier kan wonen!

I just finished my MSc in International Financial Management at the University of Groningen, and I'm now in the transition from studies into my first proper job in finance and analytics. I'm giving up my room in Groningen at the end of April and looking for a place for up to six months while I settle into work.
