Hi! I'm Emilie, 21, French, and currently doing my master's at the UvA. I also work alongside my studies, so I'm out of the house most of the day. I'm looking for a room from the beginning of October, ideally for 1 to 2 years. I'm a non smoker, I don't have a partner moving in with me, and I'm not looking for a party house. As a flatmate I'm tidy and I take care of shared spaces. I like cooking, so I'll happily make dinner for everyone once in a while, but I also know when to leave people to their evening. I'm sociable without being loud, and I'm easy to reach if anything comes up. Feel free to message me, I'm flexible for viewings and can usually come by the same week.

I'm originally from Germany, studied and worked in Design in Weimar, and I'm someone who genuinely loves shared living. I've lived in shared apartments for 5 years, so I know what makes it work: mutual respect, clear boundaries, being there for each other, and keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable. Living together well is something I take seriously – and enjoy. Outside of studies I love cycling, hiking, sitting in cafés, and exploring new places. I'm looking forward to building a real home, not just a temporary stay. What I bring along: a great vinyl/CD collection, useful household appliances, and furniture for shared spaces if needed. Goed samenwonen is iets wat ik serieus neem – en ook gewoon leuk vind. Buiten mijn studie hou ik van fietsen, wandelen, in cafés zitten en nieuwe plekken ontdekken. Ik leer ook Nederlands, dus ik hoop snel een beetje mee te kunnen praten! Wat ik meeneem: een mooie cd-collectie, handige huishoudelijke apparaten en eventueel meubels voor de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Financieel sta ik er goed voor: ik heb spaargeld en ga naast mijn studie parttime werken, dus de huur wordt altijd op tijd betaald.
