I am looking for a place to stay during my internship (1 September - 1 December, the total of 3 months) in the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute, working in bioinformatics. I am from Greece and I have a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and genetics. I like to draw and chill, but I am up for the occasional adventure.

I’m planning to start my Master’s in Fine Arts in 2027, so I decided to move one year earlier. I want to have some time to settle in, get used to living in the Netherlands and work and save some money before I start my studies. I’m looking for a place where I can stay long-term and feel at home. I’m clean and organized and I’ve shared apartments before, both in Greece and abroad. I’m quite social and friendly, but I also like having my own space and I respect other people’s space too. I don’t smoke and I don’t have pets. I have my own income in Greece and I’m also planning to work in the Netherlands. I can provide financial documents and I also have a guarantor if needed. I'm Chani, 27, and I work in quality assurance for medical technology. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I have an M.A. in International Management, with a thesis on the adoption of autonomous medical devices that was graded with distinction, and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, cum laude. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester. I'm looking for somewhere settled for the longer term , at least 1-2 years.
