Hi future roommates or landlord! 👋 Looking for a room or apartment starting in September as I'm relocating for work with a permanent contract (budget up to €1,600/month max). Ideally, I'm looking for places around Zuidoost, Diemen, or nearby areas with good connections, but I'm fairly flexible. Available for either long-term or short-term rentals. A bit about me: I’m Sarah, 30 years old, and moving from Germany to start a new job as a scientist in Amsterdam, having recently finished my PhD in molecular biology. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me doing sports, cooking, traveling, or hanging out with friends. For the past 10 years, I’ve lived in shared flats where my flatmates often became best friends. I’m clean, reliable, and active, and I really enjoy catching up over dinner or a tea in the evening, having a shared breakfast, or doing something fun on the weekend. At the same time, I fully respect everyone's personal space and downtime. I can easily come over to Amsterdam for viewings at short notice (or jump on a quick video call). Hello! I hope you are well. My name is Anne, I am 21 y/o (22 in November), from Norway. I have graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). I have lived in the Netherlands for 3 years now, and I loved it so much I decided to apply for a master's here. Luckily for me, I got into the Political Science master's at Leiden University, which I am thrilled about. Before I lived in the Netherlands, I got into the United World College of the Adriatic (UWC AD), which is an international boarding school near Trieste, Italy. It taught me a lot about living with others and respecting our facilities, especially as one of the residences used to be part of the Duino Castle. When I am not working or studying ;) I love to sit down and read a book; my all-time favourite is The Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki by Haruki Murakami, and my favourite childhood books have to be the Harry Potter series. Additionally, I love being able to bike everywhere, especially down to a cafe to meet up with friends or to a pool bar to play. I am not a smoker or a heavy drinker. I am a very clean and tidy person (feedback from my previous roommates). After living with roommates for a combination of 5 years (three roommates in Italy, and one flatmate in Amsterdam), I am well-versed in living with people from all walks of life.
