In September, I am starting my studies in Jazz Saxophone at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA) for my preparatory year, and I am looking for a room from September (or earlier) I am focusing my search on Amsterdam, Haarlem, and surroundings (including Noord, Zaandam, or Assendelft). I am looking for a room with registration and my budget is around €750. I am open to either a shared student flat or a room with a host family. While I study music (jazz saxophone), I do all my practicing at the Conservatory’s practice rooms to ensure a quiet environment at home. Hi, I'm Brooke! I am currently finishing up my masters degree in Economics at Radboud and am looking for a more permanent place to stay. I'm from the US originally (raised in Colorado), but would love to stay abroad. I can be social but also love to stay in, just depends on who I'm with. Some of my hobbies include reigning 2nd place champs at our international Pubquiz every Monday night (the first place team is hard to beat!), watching every reality tv show I can, reading books, baking, snowboarding, traveling etc. I am looking for a room in the Netherlands, not too picky on the exact location. My current house is very much a student accomodation, so I am looking for more of an 'adult' feel to my next house. I would love to be friends or at least friendly with my roommates, because my current house now feels like a revolving door and it gets quite lonely. As a roommate, I tend to be very clean and respectful of the shared spaces. I'm often the one taking out the trash and doing general upkeep of my place now. I'm quiet, a non-smoker, and not to sound biased but would consider myself easy to live with. My current lease ends in July, but I'd be willing to sign another lease starting in June.
