Hello! I'm a long-time self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) pursuing fluency in Dutch, relocating late January via a DAFT Visa. I already have a BSN, a network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I have excellent references, rental history, and would be delighted to be the dream tenant you hope for, far beyond just the standard financial responsibility. I care for my space, have a green thumb, and love people, adore animals, art, golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I am open to anyplace accessible to public transportation (I have sold my car for the time being) in communities in the north, like Alkmaar, Zaandam, Edam and Haarlem, to areas I'm also familiar with, such as Hilversum, Bussum, Huizen, Laren, Blaricum, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Amersfoort and even Venlo - though this would be quite the commute to the Randstad! Ik heb net mijn studie in Duitsland afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om mijn eerste “echte” baan in Amsterdam te beginnen. Kleine disclaimer: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (wel Duits, Engels en Spaans), maar ik heb al eens les gehad en verwacht het redelijk snel op te pakken.
