I’m looking for a long-term room in a respectful and clean environment. I highly value a peaceful home where everyone respects each other's space and privacy to study or relax, but I’m also always down for a casual chat, sharing a meal, or enjoying a beer together when everyone is free. I am an industrial designer - currently I am working at a studio in Weimar in Germany but it was always my dream to collect some experience in NL, so I randomly decided to just do that haha. I’ll work 40h per week :-( but I am also looking forward to getting to know the city and the people and I appreciate a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere in the apartment, where you can feel like home. Now I’m moving to Groningen to start my Master’s in Computational Cognitive Science 🧠💻 - so basically, I’m trying to understand how the brain works while still figuring out my own. In my free time, I’m very active and enjoy rowing, running, volleyball, skiing, mountain biking and pretty much any sport that sounds fun 🚣‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏐⛷️🚵‍♂️. I’m aware that mountain biking might be a little challenging in the famously mountainous landscape of the Netherlands, so my current plan is to switch to road cycling instead 🚲. I also definitely want to join a rowing club in Groningen and get involved in student associations.
