Hi, I'm Maria! I'm 28 and originally from Italy. I'll be in Amsterdam from the beginning of September until mid-March as a visiting PhD student at VU University. This isn't my first time in the Netherlands. I lived in Utrecht during my Erasmus exchange and fell in love with the country, which is a big part of why I wanted to come back. I've lived with other people before, so I'm comfortable with shared living and genuinely enjoy getting to know housemates, while also being happy to have my own quiet time. I started running a few months ago and try to keep it up almost daily (mostly to survive PhD life!). I tend to have a calm, structured routine, and I'm very mindful about keeping shared spaces clean and tidy. Looking for: a single room or studio, from early September until mid-March, budget up to €700/month.

Ik vind het super leuk om na een drukke dag lekker te koken en even lekker te kletsen met het huis. Ik ben altijd in om iets te doen en vaak komt nee niet in mijn woordenboek voor. Ik ben een open boek maar kan ook een goed luisterend oor zijn. ik vind het leuk om betrokken te zijn en zelf dingen te organiseren, dus ik zie mezelf daar helemaal in opgaan! Een hechthuis zou perfect bij mij passen. Heb zin om jullie te ontmoeten!

Hai! Ik ben Liske, nu nog 17 jaar en vanaf komend studiejaar ga ik Chemische Technologie studeren. Op dit moment woon ik nog in Brabant, waar ik ook actief ben bij scouting. Daarnaast heb ik jarenlang atletiek gedaan, dus ik ben graag actief bezig. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik ook veel met muziek bezig: ik speel slagwerk in een orkest. Geen zorgen trouwens — ik ben niet van plan een drumstel mee te nemen naar mijn kamer 😉. Het is vooral melodisch slagwerk wat ik doe. Verder hou ik van lezen, tekenen en een gezellige bordspelavond (ik heb toegang tot een bordspelbibliotheek van meer dan 800 spellen). Ik ben sociaal en vind het leuk om af en toe samen dingen te doen, maar ik kan ook prima mijn eigen ding doen. In mijn vrije tijd korfbal ik bij KV Wageningen, een van de grotere korfbalverenigingen van de regio. Daarnaast houd ik erg van lezen en puzzelen. Ik vind het leuk om dingen uit te pluizen en op te lossen, wat ook goed aansluit bij mijn studie die ik komend najaar ga beginnen . Hoewel ik nog niet op mezelf heb gewoond, kijk ik er juist naar uit om die stap te zetten. Ik ben zelfstandig, netjes en vind het belangrijk om rekening met elkaar te houden. I'm 24 years old and I'm a jazz musician, and this year I'll be studying at Codarts on an Erasmus program ☺️ To give a little context about who I am and where I come from: I'm from Spain and I've been a musician for more than ten years. Throughout my life, I've learned to play a few instruments (saxophone, piano, flute, bass, etc.), but my favorite is definitely the saxophone. I'm currently studying in Valencia, but I'm from a nearby city called Castellón (small and pretty), where you can be at the beach in 20 minutes by bike and where it seems like it's almost always spring. I am passionate about art, and I love making plans that have to do with it (visiting museums, seeing concerts, painting, designing... basically anything). I enjoy nature and making plans for the outdoors, I love animas, meeting new people, going out, going to the gym, going to a bar for a drink, among other things. But most of the time I like to be by myself at home. I love having time for myself, and probably my favorite thing in the world is to stay at home with a blanket and read, watch a movie, listen to music, or just relax. Mijn startsalaris zal 3300 euro per maand zijn en hoewel Ania nog geen baan heeft, krijgt ze financiële steun van haar ouders van ongeveer 1000 euro per maand. Voorheen verdiende ze ongeveer 2500 euro per maand met werken. We zijn vrij rustige mensen die graag lezen, videogames spelen, sporten en lange wandelingen maken. We zijn geen feestbeesten en geven de voorkeur aan ons eigen gezelschap boven grote groepen.
