Ik houd van kunst, schrijven, muziek en gamen. Ik ben geboren in Nederland, maar mijn afkomst is Macedonisch. Ik spreek die taal ook. Verder spreek ik Nederlands, Engels, een beetje Frans, een beetje Spaans, en een beetje Russisch.

I'm a PhD researcher from Aalborg University, coming to Amsterdam for a funded research stay at UvA from October 2026 until the end of February 2027. My salary comes from my home university and research grants. Rent is covered by Danish research grants. I can provide an employment contract and reference from my department. I'm looking for a room or studio for that period. I currently share a flat in Aalborg and get on well with my flatmate, so I'm used to shared living: I clean up after myself, I'm quiet in the evenings, and I'm at the university most of the day. I'm outgoing and always open for plans. I don't smoke and do not have any pets. Outside work I run, climb, sing at the international choir and play the guitar. I am a 24-year-old Canadian law student from Toronto. I have been in Groningen since August 2025. I came to Groningen as part of my Canadian University’s partnership with RUG that allowed me to finish my Canadian Juris Doctor degree and enabled me to get an LLM at RUG. As such, currently, I have completed the Juris Doctor degree and am wrapping up my LLM in Law and Technology at the RUG. In Canada, the study of law is exclusively a graduate study. As a result, I also have an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Toronto. Initially, I planned to go back to Toronto for work after the completion of my study in Groningen. However, I have fallen in love with the city and its walkability/cyclability. As a result, I plan to stay in the city for some time and establish a legal career in Europe. Currently, I am in the process of searching for a legal job. In the meantime, I have lined up some part time work to keep up with expenses. Although surprised, my family is supportive of my decision to stay in Groningen and are willing to act as my financial safety net, if needed. I have been paying 800 EUR for my current SSH accommodation and can provide the receipts. Apart from my study and work-based pursuits, I have kept engaged with hobbies in the city including Salsa and Ballroom dancing. I am also a part of the travel association AEGEE and have taken opportunities to travel across 12 European countries. Additionally, I am currently taking Dutch intensive summer classes. I hope to have at least an A2 level proficiency in the language by the end of this summer.
