Hi, I’m Niklas. I’m 24 years old and studying architecture. I’m currently about to finish my bachelor’s degree at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. I’ve been accepted into the master’s program at TU Delft and will be starting my studies next semester. That’s why I’m looking for a place to live in Delft. I’m preferably looking for a long-term rental starting in August. A few facts about me: I’m an active guy who really enjoys sports. I ride a roadbike, run a lot, and love playing volleyball or beach volleyball with friends. Besides sports, I enjoy spending time with friends, relaxing in the evenings with a few beers and card games, or cooking together with others. I would describe myself as open-minded and someone who enjoys meeting new people. I also make sure the apartment stays neat and clean so that everyone feels comfortable and at home. Since moving to Aachen, I’ve been living in the same shared apartment with two other students. I really enjoy living with nice roommates. Hello, I am Simon a 25 year old student from the small town of Würzburg in Germany. For four years I have studied architecture mainly there. For my Masters degree I was accepted at the TU-Delft, only thing missing now is a room to stay. I am rather a introverted type and often study focused. Hello there! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too!
