Hi, I'm Maria! I'm 28 and originally from Italy. I'll be in Amsterdam from the beginning of September until mid-March as a visiting PhD student at VU University. This isn't my first time in the Netherlands. I lived in Utrecht during my Erasmus exchange and fell in love with the country, which is a big part of why I wanted to come back. I've lived with other people before, so I'm comfortable with shared living and genuinely enjoy getting to know housemates, while also being happy to have my own quiet time. I started running a few months ago and try to keep it up almost daily (mostly to survive PhD life!). I tend to have a calm, structured routine, and I'm very mindful about keeping shared spaces clean and tidy.
