Ik heb inmiddels mijn bachelor Biologie en mijn master Energy & Environmental Sciences gehaald, maar ik ben nog niet helemaal uitgestudeerd. Vandaar dat ik heb besloten nog en master in Public Administration aan de UTwente te doen en zoek ik een fijne plek om te wonen in Enschede. Ik vind het ontzettend gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten, een drankje te doen, een goed bordspel te spelen of gewoon even op de bank te hangen. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon). Daarnaast ben ik nu nog elk weekend actief als leiding bij een scoutingvereniging in Groningen. Zodra ik in Enschede gesetteld ben, ben ik zeker van plan om daar in de buurt ook weer zoiets op te pakken. Ook ben ik graag met mijn vrienden. We plannen regelmatig speciaalbier avondjes, een whiskey proeverij of een leuke, actieve activiteit, zoals padellen. Hi everyone! I’m Nils, 24, and about to start my Master’s degree (Modern and Contemporary History) in Utrecht after wrapping up my Bachelor’s in Political Science and History. I’ve spent the last 10 years working in gastronomy as a bartender and waiter – first in my father's restaurant back in Nuremberg and later while studying in Mainz. It keeps me on my toes, makes me easy to talk to, and taught me how to actually keep things clean without being weird about it. Having lived in WGs for the past 4 years, I know how shared flats work: I completely respect personal space, but I’m always down for cooking together, grabbing a cold beer, or having a good chat in the kitchen (I also love cooking for people while trying out new recipes).
