Hi, I'm Brooke! I am currently finishing up my masters degree in Economics at Radboud and am looking for a more permanent place to stay. I'm from the US originally (raised in Colorado), but would love to stay abroad. I can be social but also love to stay in, just depends on who I'm with. My current house is very much a student accomodation, so I am looking for more of an 'adult' feel to my next house. I would love to be friends or at least friendly with my roommates, because my current house now feels like a revolving door and it gets quite lonely. As a roommate, I tend to be very clean and respectful of the shared spaces. I'm often the one taking out the trash and doing general upkeep of my place now. I'm quiet, a non-smoker, and not to sound biased but would consider myself easy to live with. My current lease ends in July, but I'd be willing to sign another lease starting in June. My dogs are Shetland Sheepdogs (medium-sized), both under 10 kg. I am a professional dog groomer and dog trainer, and my dogs are very well-trained. They do not chew furniture or damage the property. After walks, I always clean them properly before bringing them inside. I’ll wash them every two weeks to keep them clean. Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home. I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol. I am a responsible and reliable tenant. I lived in the UK and Australia for a year each so I’ve used to live in abroad. I take off my shoes when entering the home and always keep the place clean and well-maintained. I will arrive in the Netherlands on July 17, but I am able to start paying rent immediately if needed.
