Hi! My name is Àlvar, I'm 26 years old and I'm from Barcelona, Spain. This September I'll be moving to Groningen to start the MSc in Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment at the University of Groningen. Before this, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology. I also worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), where I participated in drug discovery research for retinal degenerative diseases.
