Geachte verhuurder, Per 1 juli ben ik op zoek naar een zelfstandige kamer/studio in omgeving centraal Nederland. Mijn huidige woonruimte komt te vervallen doordat mijn huisgenoot vertrekt(Gaat samenwonen met zijn vriendin) — ik zoek dus een eigen plek met iemand samen of waar ik volledig op mezelf kan wonen. Ik ben werkzaam in de sales, een sector die vraagt om doorzettingsvermogen, communicatieve kracht en betrouwbaarheid — eigenschappen die ik ook als huurder meeneem. Ik ben sociaal van aard, maar weet ook goed wanneer ik rust nodig heb en hoe ik mijn eigen tijd structureer. Thuis laad ik op: met een goed boek over geschiedenis, een avond achter mijn computer of een goede film/serie. Wat u van mij kunt verwachten: een huurder die zijn zaken op orde heeft, zorgvuldig omgaat met zijn woning en geen overlast veroorzaakt. Ik zoek geen tijdelijke oplossing, maar een plek waar ik mij minimaal het komende jaar kan focussen op mijn werk en om de omgeving te leren kennen. Verder heb ik momenteel een auto van de zaak. Deze moet ik wel kwijt kunnen in de omgeving. Een stukje lopen vind ik niet erg. Ik zou het fijn vinden om kennis te maken en hoop dat we voor 1 juli tot een goede overeenkomst kunnen komen. Hello! I hope this finds you well. My name is Anne, I am 21 y/o (22 in November), from Norway, and Montenegro. I am currently finishing my bachelor's at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). I have lived in the Netherlands for 3 years now, and loved it so much I decided to apply for a master's here. Luckily for me, I got into the Political Science master's at Leiden University, which I am thrilled about. Before I lived in the Netherlands, I got into the United World College of the Adriatic (UWC AD), which is an international boarding school near Trieste, Italy. It taught me a lot about living with others and respecting our facilities, especially as one of the residences used to be part of the Duino Castle. I therefore speak English, Norwegian, Serbo-Croatian, Italian, and I’m learning Dutch ;) As I am a student, I receive a scholarship from Norway, which amounts to about €17500/year (I included this in my income as it is gifted to me). I am therefore able to sustain myself during my studies. Additionally, I work beside my studies at Albert Heijn for some extra spending money, and so I can save on the side. I have lived in the same apartment in August Allebéplein in Amsterdam, where my rent was €922 excluding utilities, and I have never struggled to meet this every month. In case I would find myself in a situation where I struggled, my parents offered to sign as my guarantors, something they are still willing to do. They can provide bank statements and proof of income, and meet all standard guarantor requirements, even as individual workers. When I am not working or studying ;) I love to sit down and read a book; my all-time favourite is The Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki by Haruki Murakami, and my favourite childhood books have to be the Harry Potter series. Additionally, I love being able to bike everywhere, especially down to a cafe to meet up with friends, or to go to a pool bar and play. I am not a smoker or a heavy drinker. I am a very clean and tidy person (feedback from my previous roommates), and after living with roommates for a combination of 5 years (three roommates in Italy, and one flatmate in Amsterdam), I know that I love living with other people.
