Hoi!, Mijn naam is Lisa en ik ben 20 jaar oud. Ik ben momenteel derdejaars student forensisch onderzoek aan het Saxion. Ik ga van 1 feb - 1 jul 2026 mijn minor Forensic Chemistry doen aan de Avans in Breda, dus zoek ik een tijdelijke kamer! Op het moment woon ik op kamers in Enschede waar ik nu anderhalf jaar woon. Ik vind het altijd gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten en te koken, en om af en toe spontaan gezellig een spelletje en/of een drankje te doen. I am a Computer Science student from the Technical University of Łódź - Poland, on an exchange to UT for a semester from 02.2026 to 07.2026. I would say I am a pretty creative, but technical-minded person - I love to tinker, design and build all kinds of stuff, like 3D modelling and printing gadgets, electronic gizmos, building computer apps and recently - VR games. Back in Łódź I am an active member of a couple student organizations, including a student science club 'UbiCOMP' In my free time I like to hike - be it mountains or my local forest. I also like to bike and am (reportedly) a pretty good home cook. My intention is to study and continue work on my projects, but I definitely want to make time for fun, to meet new people and experience Dutch culture. I will probably not be arriving in the Netherlands until late January / early February so in-person room viewings may be an issue, but I will happily talk on a video call. Good day, I would like to take this moment to introduce myself. My name is Marcel Els, and I have recently come over from South Africa on a temporary work contract with Otto workforce EU. Through the Otto workforce EU agency, I am currently working at the Albert Heijn Distribution Centre in Pijnacker. While I do currently have accommodation as supplied by Otto Workforce, I find myself enamoured with the country. This means that I will be endeavouring to bring my fiancée over so that we can start a new life here. To this end, I will need to find accommodation that is more suitable for the two of us as a couple. Ideally, we would like to find a place either in Delft or Rotterdam, closer to Pijnacker, in order to access my current work better. I do intend to seek more permanent employment closer to the end of my contract and feel that the indicated location is well-positioned for me to do so I am a German passport holder and EU citizen, but grew up in South Africa, hence am currently only fluent in English and Afrikaans - a derivative of the Dutch language. As I am only recently relocated to the Netherlands (September 2025), the only rental reference I have would be from my previous accommodation in South Africa and my current rental contract via Otto Workforce. On a personal level, I consider myself to be a God-fearing individual, trustworthy and reliable, with strong moral convictions. In South Africa, I was also a registered professional athlete, leading to exposure with many different people. This experience has allowed me to learn how to integrate within any community and to actively contribute to the same in a positive manner.
