Mijn naam is Emma-Jane. Ik ben 27 jaar en werk als onderzoeker bij het Erasmus MC. Vanwege omstandigheden moest ik mijn eerdere woonruimte verlaten. Nu ben ik op zoek naar een fijne woning voor mijzelf. Omdat ik de laatste fase van mijn onderzoek inga, is stabiliteit en een vaste woonplek voor mij erg belangrijk. Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Zuid-Afrika. Na mijn studie in Duitsland ben ik naar Nederland gekomen voor mijn PhD-onderzoek. Ik begrijp Nederlands goed en kan het ook goed schrijven. Zelf spreken vind ik nog wat lastiger, maar ik ben het actief aan het leren. Daarnaast ben ik al geruime tijd in een stabiele en toegewijde relatie. Toch woon ik graag zelfstandig, omdat ik merk dat dit het beste werkt voor mijn onderzoek en werkzaamheden. Een rustige eigen woonruimte helpt mij om mij volledig op mijn werk te kunnen concentreren. In mijn vrije tijd breng ik graag tijd door met vrienden en ben ik graag in de natuur. Vooral een lange fietstocht langs een meer of de zee vind ik heerlijk. Aaron van ’t Hoog, 18 jaar. Ik ga Electrical Engineering studeren aan de TUe. Ik kom uit Enschede en hoop in Eindhoven een leuke studententijd te hebben. Ik houd van gezelligheid, maar vind het ook wel lekker om af en toe weer tot rust te komen. Ik houd bijvoorbeeld ook van een goed potje D&D of gamen. In Enschede deed ik aan boogschieten, ik moet even kijken of ik dat in Eindhoven ook weer op kan pakken. Ik wil me zeker aanmelden bij een studievereniging en ik ga ook kijken of ik een passende studentenvereniging kan vinden. Ik ben op zoek naar een beetje een net studentenhuis waar gezelligheid en ontspanning goed samengaan. De data die ik genoemd heb qua verhuizen en duur van huren zijn overigens flexibel. Ik hoop natuurlijk nog een tijdje in Eindhoven te studeren, maar als ik eerst een tijdelijke kamer heb, heb ik in ieder geval alvast een begin. En ik hoop een kamer te hebben als het studiejaar begint, maar eerder is natuurlijk ook prima.

Hoi, Ik ben Jelmer en ik ben 19 jaar oud. Aankomend jaar ga ik de studie Technische Geneeskunde volgen aan de UT. Naast het studeren houd ik van gezelligheid en ben ik niet vies van een biertje op z’n tijd. Daarnaast houd ik ook van sportieve activiteiten en wil ik daarom graag bij een sportvereniging. Ik kijk erna uit om volgend jaar een start te gaan maken aan mijn studie en het studentenleven te ervaren!

Onze voorkeur gaat naar een woning in regio Den Haag, Leiden en omstreken, maar we staan open voor andere opties zoals regio Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht. I am a student at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam (Hogeschool van Amsterdam) and Lynn studies at Leiden University (The Hague campus). We both borrow the maximum student loan (around €1300). I currently live in Haarlem and Lynn lives in The Hague. We both also have part-time jobs alongside our studies, and we plan to work as well if we move somewhere else. We are both fairly quiet and not really into parties and going out, which is why we are looking for an apartment together or separate studios, rather than traditional shared student housing. Our preference is for a place in the Amsterdam, The Hague, or Leiden regions and surrounding areas, but we are open to other options as well.
